Here are a few interesting items...

Virtual Account Numbers I just got an email from Citibank announcing their “Virtual Account Numbers” program. You can generate random account numbers for one-time use on your account. Once used the number is not valid. This translates into added security for your online transactions. I’ll have to give this a try.

Consumer Credit According to data released on 3/5/04 by the Federal Reserve, consumer debt increased at a annual rate of 8.6 percent in January, or by $14.3 billion, from the previous month. That is the greatest increase since May 2003. This moved the consumer credit outstanding to a record $2 trillion in January.

Paying in Full According to a Motley Fool poll, 67% of respondents reported that they pay their credit card bills in full at the end of the month.
