Reviews
"I just received your How to Be More
Credit Card and Debt Smart, Vol 1 yesterday (Amazon) -- woke up early
this a.m. and read it cover-to-cover. EXCELLENT book!! Should be required
reading for EVERYBODY (well, except bank managers!)--but truly, should be
a mandatory addition to both high school and college curriculums. I
especially like that you're not afraid to confront the companies, car
dealerships, etc.--you tell it like it is and I totally respect that.
You're the Michael Moore of finance! Love it! Go get 'em! Of course in
reading the chapter on auto loans, I kept thinking about how ripped off
I'm sure we were! Since we're still paying on it--guess who's getting a
call on Monday?! Of course you can add my comment! I have been going to
all of my frequently traveled boards today screaming to everyone
"CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY TODAY!!" Thanks so much, Scott. I
look forward to being debt free much sooner because of your advice and
wisdom. Thanks for getting me started on the right foot! Thanks to you for
giving me the confidence and know-how to contact my credit card companies
and demanding a better interest rate!! All but one complied w/o any
hassle--as if they expected it! And the one that didn't--I'm transferring!
Thanks so much for the inspiration and incentive. You are AWESOME!"Lynn
"I have enjoyed reading it! What I like about How to be more
Credit Card and Debt Smart is the way it is written is like having a
conversation with a friend. Picture it like this, instead of two people
but a person and the book sitting at a table with a nice warm mug of
Starbucks (that I brewed of course) and learning about credit issues in a
relaxing and easy to remember format."Susie Marion
"I am a high school math teacher. I was given a new course to teach
last year for the first time. I decided to teach the students about
personal finance. As I was doing research for the course, I came across
your newsletter and have been using it ever since as part of my class. The
students are really glad that I have made this a part of the class and
keep asking for more."Beth Beto
"A day without reading DebtSmart® is like a day without sunshine.
Thanks again for the wonderful job you do and all the valuable information
you pass on to the public...I have learned so much from your articles,
keep them coming."Diane Ayers, NC
"The articles were well written; in plain English, with facts and
information that did not overwhelm an individual. Keep up the good work.
Thanks!!"Linda Davis, AZ
"I love your newsletter. My husband and I put a hold on our credit
reports so the banks don't get our information anymore and we don't get
the 500 a day offers."Leslie
"You rock! My resolution for 2002 is to 'pay down the damn Visa
balance even though I have a 9.9% fixed rate Platinum Capital One
card'!!!"Kim
"I love the newsletter. It is very informative about debt reduction,
as well as, realistic about debt and the fact that people have it."Darryl
"I have gained so much knowledge from the newsletter. It is hard to
put into words, the thanks and appreciation I feel, taking the time to
educate the public about debt. Keep up the good work and one day the
subscribers will be debt free."Diane
